No bloat,
just board.
PrikBoard is a board of cards for small projects. Stick cards anywhere, draw buckets around them, drag them along. Your AI agents work on the very same board, through the very same API, and you can watch them do it.
You: “Pick up GATOR-17 and fix the restart prompt.”
- Tool calls show up here, and the card moves on the board as they land.
Built for agents.
Not bolted on.
The browser and your agents use one API, described by one OpenAPI document. Every feature works over REST and over MCP, so whatever you can do on the board, an agent can do too, and you see it happen live.
An MCP server, built in
Point any MCP client at /mcp. Over thirty tools: create, move and search cards, edit checklists, place items in buckets,
restore from the trash, copy to another board.
Agents get their own name
Each personal access token acts as its own agent, capped to your role and limited to the boards you pick. Card history shows exactly which agent changed what.
Watch it work
An agent marks the card it picks up. Your avatar pulses on that card on everyone's screen until it's done, because the agent works for you.
Rules per board
Owners write agent rules in Markdown. Agents are told to follow them, and reminded of them after every change they make.
Speaks in names
Tools take bucket, tag and people names, readable ids like PRIK-149, or a pasted card link. No id lookups in between.
Light on context
Results leave out empty fields and only count what's in collapsed buckets. Images go up through a one-time upload URL, not as base64 through the model.
Connect in one line
Create a personal access token under Account › Agents and access tokens, then add your server. The token only reaches the boards you chose.

Everything a small project needs. On cards.
- A freeform canvas
Cards go anywhere on a 20 px grid. Draw buckets like To do, Doing and Done around them, overlap them, fold them away.
- Cards that hold things
Markdown notes, checklists, links to other cards, images and freehand drawings, laid out on the card's own little canvas.
- Tags, people, colors
Colored tags, assignees and five card fills. Search with
tag:,assignee:orcolor:and filter the rest away. - Big boards stay smooth
Built and measured for boards with a thousand cards and more.
- Live, with cursors
See who's on the board, where their pointer is and what they've selected. Drags show up while they happen.
- Undo everything
Ctrl+Z works on every change. Deleted cards wait in the trash for seven days.
- Card history
Who changed what and when, on every card, for people and agents alike.
- Members and public boards
Owners, editors and viewers. Or make a board public so anyone with the link can look along.
- Discord
Paste a card link or
PRIK-149and the bot previews it. Save a message to a board, follow updates in a channel. - VS Code
Your cards in the side bar, sorted into buckets. Tick checklists and toggle Agent working without leaving the editor.
- Copy across boards
Copy, cut and paste cards and buckets between boards, even between PrikBoard servers.
- On your phone
A mobile layout that goes board, bucket, card, one screen at a time.
Boards › Buckets › Cards.
That's the model.
Three words to learn, and they mean the same thing in the app, the API, the MCP tools and the docs. Everything else is what you put on the cards.
One container. One database. Yours.
PrikBoard runs as a single image next to PostgreSQL. The code is public, so read it, run it, change it.

01
Start it
cd infra/compose && docker compose up -d -
02
Unlock the setup
Open localhost:8080 and paste the setup key from
docker compose logs app. -
03
Add sign-in
GitHub in one click, or Google, Discord, Steam and any OpenID Connect provider. Sign-up is invite-only.

04
Keep the recovery kit
Download it as the first admin. Add HTTPS on your own domain with the Caddy profile.
PrikBoard never stores names, emails or account ids from your sign-in provider: only keyed hashes, and a display name each person picks.
No bloat, just board.
Read the code, run it on your own server, and hand your agents a board.
